This Privacy Policy describes how Worksprings LLC ("Worksprings," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit, subscribe to, make a purchase from, or post a listing on www.outfittermarketplace.com (the "Site").
Outfitter Marketplace is an online resource for hunting and fishing outfitters and guides, offering outfitter business-for-sale listings, an outfitter and guide job board, a jobs-wanted board, and related guide resources.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Device Information. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages you view, what websites or search terms referred you, and how you interact with the Site.
We collect Device Information using:
Cookies — data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
Log files — track actions on the Site, including IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
Web beacons, tags, and pixels — electronic files used to record how you browse the Site. This includes the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, the Meta Conversions API, and similar advertising and analytics technologies described under "Behavioural Advertising" below.
Order Information. When you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site — including paid job postings, business-for-sale listings, or other paid placements — we collect your name, billing address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.
Information You Submit. When you use the Site, you may submit:
Email address (newsletter signup, account creation, listing inquiries)
Job postings, including business name, location, position details, compensation, and contact information
Jobs-wanted posts, including your name, location, experience, licensing or certification details, and contact information
Business-for-sale listings, including business location, asking price, permits or leases, operational details, and photos
Messages and inquiries you send to us or to other users through the Site
Please note: listing content — including job postings, jobs-wanted posts, and business-for-sale listings — is published publicly on the Site and is visible to anyone, including search engines. Do not include information in a listing that you do not want publicly available.
When we refer to "Personal Information" in this policy, we mean Device Information, Order Information, and information you submit while using the Site.
We do not store your credit card information. Payments are processed and stored by Stripe (https://stripe.com/) and/or Squarespace, our website and commerce platform.
When you visit or log in to our Site, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email or postal address. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to those addresses. You may opt out at https://app.retention.com/optout.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use Order Information to fulfill purchases and listings placed through the Site, including processing payment, publishing your listing, providing email services, and sending invoices or order confirmations. We also use Order and submitted information to:
Publish and manage your job posting, jobs-wanted post, or business-for-sale listing
Connect outfitters, guides, and buyers with one another
Send you our newsletter and updates about listings, jobs, and services
Communicate with you about your account, listings, or inquiries
Screen orders and listings for potential risk, fraud, or abuse
Provide you with marketing or advertising about our products and services, consistent with the preferences you have shared with us
We use Device Information to screen for risk and fraud (particularly your IP address) and to improve and optimize the Site — for example, by generating analytics about how visitors browse and interact with the Site and assessing the performance of our marketing and advertising campaigns.
We also use Device Information to optimize advertising campaigns and to advertise and retarget our services to you across platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google.
